Your membership dues help you stay connected. Members receive invitations to alumni events in their areas, as well as providing valuable funding for these functions through dues. Additionally, members receive a quarterly subscription to the Alumnews, which features “Wyograms” that announce important life events for alumni. Dues will also help support the upcoming online alumni community and portal to be launched in the fall, as well as current social networking efforts.
You can also volunteer to host alumni events in your area, participate in UW recruiting efforts, mentor a current student, or support UW in other ways. The possibilities are endless. Support the University
Joining the UW Alumni Association is a great way to broadcast your support for UW. Wyoming alumni feel a strong sense of pride when they talk about their alma mater. They value the quality education they received and reflect fondly upon their student days in Laramie. There are many things that make UW special: its academic programs, cultural events, student activities, outstanding legislative support, and prime outdoor surroundings. Whatever drew you here, and whatever your memories are, the alumni association exists to further these UW connections. Whether you are still in Wyoming, or life has taken you elsewhere, you can stay in touch through your UWAA membership.
Your membership dues directly support programs that foster connections between alumni, provide student scholarships, advance the university, honor former alumni, and provide legislative advocacy.
