Curt Gowdy (1919 - 2006) Sportscaster, TV play-by-play man for AFL, NFL and major league baseball was a 1942 Arts & Sciences graduate in Statistics and an Honorary Degree recipient in 1972. He was also a paid life member of the UWAA. The University of Wyoming Alumni Association has over 15,000 members and is going strong. Membership in the UWAA is one of the simplest and most affordable ways to give back to the University of Wyoming.
