Scholarships

 

UWAA is committed to supporting education through student scholarships.  The association’s long standing scholarship program, the Mary Lou Rechard Memorial Scholarship, the Platte Valley National Bank Scholarship, the Shaw Family Scholarship, the Fred Gray Memorial Scholarship, the WyoSal Scholarship, and the UW License Plate scholarship fund student learning through generous awards.

UWAA Scholarship Program

The UWAA scholarship program benefits students through four year awards to incoming freshmen and one year awards to upperclassmen.  Over $50,000 is disbursed annually through this donor-funded program.  Numerous scholarships are available; even out of state students are eligible for certain awards.  Scholarship Club members make the UWAA awards possible.  Named scholarships are funded by specific donors.   The association also coordinates several named scholarships and license plate program awards. Join the Scholarship Club

UWAA Scholarship Club members fund UWAA scholarship program awards.  Membership is available at various levels.  The scholarship club is a great way to directly help students achieve their educational goals, as contributions are restricted to scholarship expenditures. UW License Plate Program

The new brown and gold UW plates do more than make your car look great!  From the sale of each plate, $100 is deposited into a fund restricted for student scholarships and programming expenditures.  The UW plate is a great way support UW students. WyoSal Scholarship

In January 2010, UWAA board member Sally Rogers passed away in Jackson, Wyoming.  The WyoSal Scholarship has been established in her memory to benefit students from the Jackson area. Click here for details.
