In the past few years, social and career networking sites have become more popular then email. These tools have enabled UWAA to connect with UW alumni on a friendly, easy-going, professional level.
UWAA joined the Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn cyber-world in the fall of 2008. We have over 1,500 fans on our Facebook page, 93 and counting Twitter followers and almost 1,700 connections to the University of Wyoming Alumni Group on the professional network, LinkedIn.
The UWAA uses FaceBook and Twitter to promote our events around the country, trips and cruises, and our scholarship auction - to name just a few ways social networking helps us!
